The DBT JRF exam, held annually by the Department of Biotechnology, offers a fellowship of Rs. 25,000 plus HRA for research in Biotechnology. The fellowship is initially for three years and may be extended for an additional two years based on performance.
The UGC NET certificate for Assistant Professor/Lectureship is valid for life. The Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) certificate, however, is valid for 4 years from the date of issue.
