The UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) syllabus for Punjabi is a comprehensive document that outlines the various topics and areas of study that candidates must master to qualify for the exam.

Punjabi Literature: This unit encompasses the study of various literary genres, such as poetry, prose, drama, and folk literature, spanning different periods of Punjabi literature, from ancient to contemporary.

Punjabi Culture: This unit explores the rich cultural heritage of Punjab, including its traditions, customs, folklore, music, and art forms, as well as the influence of social, political, and historical factors on Punjabi culture.

Literary Criticism and Theory: This unit focuses on the principles and methods of literary criticism and the major literary theories and their applications in the analysis and interpretation of Punjabi literature.

Research Methodology: This unit covers research methods and techniques for studying the Punjabi language, literature, and culture, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
