The UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) syllabus for Public Administration is a comprehensive document that covers the fundamental concepts, theories, and principles of this multidisciplinary field.

Public Policy and Governance: This unit explores the processes of public policy formulation, implementation, and evaluation, as well as the principles and practices of good governance, including accountability, transparency, and citizen participation.

Organisation Theory and Behavior: This unit focuses on the structure and functioning of public organisations, organisational behaviour, leadership, motivation, and organisational change and development.

Financial Administration: This unit covers public finance, budgeting, auditing, and financial management in the public sector.

Human Resource Management: This unit examines the principles and practices of human resource management in public organisations, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and employee relations.

Administrative Law and Ethics: This unit explores the legal framework governing public administration, administrative law, and ethical principles and practices in public service.
