OET stands for the Occupational English Test. It’s specifically designed to assess the English language proficiency of healthcare professionals planning to work in an English-speaking environment.
To qualify for visa status in the USA, you need an OET score of at least 350 out of 500 or a Grade B in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
For nursing in the UK, you’ll need to score at least a Grade B in the reading, listening, and speaking sections and a Grade C+ in writing.
