As of recent notifications, CTET and HTET are no longer considered equivalent. While CTET was previously recognized as equivalent to HTET in 2021, the HTET certificate now has a specific validity of seven years, distinct from CTET.
To be eligible for HTET 2024 Paper 1, candidates must have completed an intermediate education and a diploma in elementary education. For Paper 2, candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree with a B.Ed. from a recognized college or university.
HTET passing criteria vary by category: General and Unreserved candidates need 60%, S.C./Physically Challenged/Differently abled Haryana Domicile candidates need 55%, and S.C./Physically Challenged/Differently abled candidates from other states require 60%.
