    Frequently Asked Questions

    HTET awards one mark per question in Papers 1 and 2, with no negative marking. Following this marking scheme, both papers include 150 questions covering various subjects.

    CTET and HTET are not equivalent. CTET is valid nationwide except in Haryana, while HTET is specific to Haryana. HTET is required for teaching jobs in Haryana, whereas CTET is for positions outside Haryana.

    Eligibility for HTET 2024 varies: Level 1 (PRT) requires Class 12 with 50% marks and a D.El.Ed. Level 2 (TGT) needs a Bachelor’s Degree with D.El.Ed or B.Ed. Level 3 (PGT) requires a Master’s Degree with a B.Ed.
